KQED San Francisco, 29th April 1970. From the Show "An hour with Pink Floyd".

Ruben Chandler

On May 12th, 1967, London's Queen Elizabeth Hall hosted Pink Floyd for a special concert of 'Games For May - Space Age Relaxation For The Climate of Spring'.  Word on the vine is that this was the first ever show to feature PA speakers placed at the rear of the hall to give a surround sound, quadraphonic, effect.  The PA was developed especially for the band by EMI technicians.  After the show the ridiculously expensive set up was stolen and not seen again for several years.
